This annual novena sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) invites parishes, schools, and Catholic organizations to reflect on and pray for the care of human life in all situations.

The annual Day of Prayer, recalling the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, is a time to pray for an increased respect for the dignity of the unborn. Please visit the USCCB website for additional resources, including webinars, action guides, and reading and homily suggestions to help your parish commemorate the Day of Prayer.

Our MyParish App will allow us to send you useful & important messages throughout the week regarding our parish life and events, and allow you to reply to messages or RSVP for events. There will be no need for parishioners with smart phones to remember to silence their phones before Mass. The App will send you a reminder to silence your phone 20 minutes before the Mass you select. Nov. 1 is All Saints Day - it is a Holy Day of Obligation for all Catholics. Please note the Masses for that day. Nov. 2 is All Souls Day - there are Masses at Memorial Park & St. Anthony cemeteries that day, with all graves blessed from the Altar. November is the Month of the Souls in Purgatory

June 6: St. Anthony of Padua, Adorer of the Eucharist Good St. Anthony, as a priest you had a burning love for Jesus truly present in the Holy Eucharist. You would spend hours adoring the Holy Trinity through the Heart of Jesus present in this sacrament of love. Obtain for us through your intercession a deeper love for Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, and by means of this sacrament a deeper relationship with the Holy Trinity, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. June 4: St. Anthony of Padua, Lover of Martyrdom Good St. Anthony, inflamed with love for our Crucified Savior, you desired a martyr’s death, to shed your blood for Jesus. However, in God’s providence, you were brought to Padua to preach the gospel and live the witness of faith. Obtain for us through your intercession the grace to live and die each day for Jesus and so inherit the crown of everlasting life. Amen.

The day after our Fall Festival, we are having our annual Fall Prize Bingo - $100 gift cards, intermission prizes, and the blackout. Intermissions prizes include a Coach purse, a Dutch oven & others, there will be door prizes too. Every presold ticket (sold before Sunday) will be eligible for a $100 gift card. Get them early. Parish office hours are 9am-12n & 1pm-4pm - so stop by and buy your ticket early. After the Bingo we are having our annual Raffle $5 a ticket. AUGUST IS THE MONTH DEDICATED TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY Immaculate Virgin, by the holy will of Your Son my Lord Jesus Christ, You are my Mother in Heaven. Your Immaculate Heart is full of love, mercy and compassion for sinners like me. I humbly ask that You intercede for me today for (MENTION YOUR PRAYER INTENTIONS). I trust in your intercession before the throne of God for my needs. Please pray also that if my requests are not in accordance with the will of God, that I may be, like you, conformed to His will and not my own. IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY, BE MY SALVATION, BE MY REFUGE. AMEN.
